Injector choice / Bosch EV14
Flexibility for the rail and injector-bung fit.
Bosch describes EV14 as a revision of EV6 technology. Its family spans several body lengths, flow rates, and spray patterns, giving an installer options to match injector dimensions to fuel-rail and injector-bung geometry.
That is the fitment rationale for the EV14 choice here. It is not a claim that every EV14 injector is superior to every EV1-style injector, or a promise of more power, economy, or better atomization.
